Ok so I got my really sweet four set bonus and phat lewtz from BT/MH
But
My dps is still bad.
I just trained a wind serpent (2 lvls to go)
And I've been scouring the EJ forumns for any dps clues.
So far I've come to the conclusion that:
My rings suck (working on mat for a hard Khorium band and badges for angelista's revenge)
My trinks suck (4k from ashtongue trink)
And my weapons are "eh"
What should I do?! |

I've been experimenting with 3 different shot rotation macros (mostly due to me being terribad at hand weaving..)

I have, but I keep getting tells from ppl saying, "Use a 1:1.5 rotation" or "Integrate multi and arcane into your rotation"
It's confusing >.< |

Who are these people? If you have 4pc t6 it's retarded to even consider arcane. Multi-shot isnt much better than steady at this point either but its mana inefficient so screw it. Don't forget i've hit 2175 dps pre-dst and 2.3k post dst with just spamming that one button for dps. This was before thoridal btw
EDIT: also add /cast lightning breath at the end of your macro if you have a WS and turn the LB auto-cast off. |

| also just checked your spec...imho 7/20/34> 28/33 QS is nice as well as FF. Also try to get a bristleblitz or s4 bow!..then again it looks like you are trying to weave arcane/multi with that spec o.O i really would advise against that with 4pc |

But I didn't add that part in to my macro.
And also a Hunter named Voltzx told me I couldn't be an effective Survival Hunter if I didn't have a dst.
Thoughts on this?
Cuz I think he's full of shit.
He's also a terribad Surv hunter who send my hate tell cuz of my t6 -.- |

Hmm I didn't notice the spec comment Phase.
I thought about doing a 5/23/33 spec, but I wasn't sure if that'd be a wise choice. |

7/20/34 would be better...2 points in focus fire=2% more dmg straight up, as well as extra KC crits |

i got 2175 without a dst as vival..so its very possible, however you should prolly do what i did and try to get a gruuls going on a weekly basis with pugs with that item being a default rule....
Edit: what was your group comp for that kill btw? it seems you lacked a shammy giving agi/bloodlust, that alone would prolly give you 100+ more dps.
You were also soaking and got burnt, that also lowered it a bit it seems
